City of Sydney Lord Mayor's Welcome for International Students
The welcome event recognised and celebrated international students' contributions to Sydney’s vibrancy, livability and cultural diversity. The event also marked the start of new and returning international students' journey, helping students to make lifelong connections in Sydney.
Students also had opportunities to meet a variety of organisations that offer a range of wonderful volunteering opportunities and support services at the event.

City of Newcastle International Student Welcome
Nestled along Australia's east coast, Newcastle offers international students a fantastic lifestyle enriched by charming cafes, boutique shops, world-class beaches, lively arts and culture scene.
Every year, the City of Newcastle eagerly extends a warm welcome to a new cohort of international students who have chosen our city as their study destination. More than just a ceremony, the welcome event provided international students with the chance to forge meaningful connections and create lasting memories as they set off on their academic journey in Newcastle.

City of Wollongong International Student Welcome
The University of Wollongong (UOW), Wollongong City Council and community partners jointly welcomed international students at a ‘Welcome to Wollongong’ event at Wollongong Town Hall.
The event provided a great opportunity for international students to explore various support services offered by UOW and local community partners.
