The NSW International Student Ambassadors Program is a pilot program launched in November 2024 to foster a community for outstanding NSW alumni and current international students in NSW. The program brings together former winners and finalists of the NSW International Education Awards and current Team Leaders who have contributed 50 hours or more of volunteer work through the NSW International Student Volunteer Program to:
- Support the international student and alumni community through engagement
- Support NSW as a study destination internationally
- Drive success in employability for NSW alumni.
NSW International Student Ambassador Roles and Responsibilities
- Speak at public events and attend official functions , with the goal of advocating for the international student and alumni community, both within Australia and abroad.
- Support NSW as a study destination through digital channels engagement.
- Advocate for outstanding international students and alumni by sharing ambassador testimonials and stories to showcase on the Study NSW website.
- Demonstrate genuine support and active engagement with opportunities and activities within the NSW International Student Ambassadors Program.

- Free training and induction from Study NSW about how to represent Study NSW to support international students, alumni and international education for NSW.
- Free NSW International Student Ambassador digital badge.
- Opportunities to engage directly with NSW businesses, employers, and the international education community.
